Granite

Natural, somewhat porous, quarried stone.
Known for it's unique veining and fissures, typically consisting of many colors in each slab.
Quarried from huge granite slabs in dozens of different countries, sealed and polished, then shipped to RSA.
Extremely resilient and scratch resistant.

Marble

Man-made, anti-microbial, non-porous surface.
Typically more consistently toned, granular appearance.
Made from crushed quartz (+-93%) and resin, fabricated into slabs and then custom cut for your layout.
Because its man-made, its properties can be manipulated into several different colors, shapes and strengths.
